1992 $5 International Year of Space Uncirculated Coin in Card

 

To commemorate Australia's invaluable and ongoing role in space technology and research, the Royal Australian Mint has produced this very special $5 coin.

The reverse design was the result of a nationwide design competition, the winner being John Skillington.

The obverse features the traditional effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
