2021 Indigenous Services - Defending Our Country $2 'C' Mintmark Coin

This 2021 $2 C' Mintmark Coloured Uncirculated coin commemorates all Indigenous personnel who have the ultimate sacrifice in defense of Country, as we who have served and continue to serve with honour.

The Royal Australian Mint acknowledges the Ngunnawal People traditional custodians of the land on which this coin was minted.

Indigenous Australians have a longstanding tradition of defending Country, having served in every conflict and commitment involving Australian defense cotingents since Federation.

From the Boer War, Gallipoli, the Western Front, Tobruk and Kokoda to Korea, Viet nam and Afghanistan, the strength of indigenous service has been a constant throughout Australian history.
