2022 $2 C Mintmark Uncirculated Coin - 75th Anniversary of Peace Keeping

Seventy-five years ago four Australian military observers arrived in what is now Indonesia as members of a United Nations (UN) group supervising the ceasefire between nationalist and Netherlands colonial forces. Since then, tens of thousands of members of the Australian military, police and civilians have participated in some 70 peacekeeping missions and peace operations in more than 60 different countries.

Their contribution is commemorated with the Royal Australian Mint’s release of this 2022 $2 ‘C’ Mintmark  Coloured Uncirculating Coin.
