2003 50th Anniversary of the end of Korean War $1 Silver Proof Coin
To commemorate the 2003 50th Anniversary of the End of the Korean War the Royal Australian Mint struck a 99.9% pure silver proof one dollar.
The coin design background of vertical lines replicates the stainless steel poles which are a major featue of the design of the Australian National Korean War Memorial in Canberra. The 'Dove of Peace' is shown between the floral emblems of South Korea and Australia.
The coin is encapsulated and cased.
