2001 80th Anniversary of Australian Air Force $1 coin in card

This 2001 commemorative coins marks the 80th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and pays tribute to the many Australians past and present who have served their country. Although the RAAF was formed in 1921 its origins date back to 1911 when it was decided that aviation should be developed within the armed forces. 

Housed in a see-both-sides cardboard presentation folder this aluminium bronze one dollar features the RAAF badge which has been used since 1939.
